Metaform strengthens its presence in Germany with the Trier Office

Since its foundation in 2003 in Luxembourg, Metaform has grown steadily and now employs over 60 professionals. With more than twenty years of experience, the firm has expanded internationally, operating offices in France and Germany, with locations in Paris, Düsseldorf, and Trier.

The Trier office, inaugurated in December 2025, is an important part of Metaform’s European network. With a talented team of four architects, the office enables the agency to manage projects more effectively across Germany and to deepen collaboration with local clients and partners. Its opening reflects Metaform’s strategic focus on the German market while supporting the development of cross-border projects that extend the firm’s reach across Europe.

Over the years, Metaform has participated in architectural competitions in Germany, securing several major commissions. Recent works include two school buildings in Salmtal and Saarbrücken, as well as the main headquarters of MSC in Hamburg. These projects illustrate the agency’s ability to balance creativity, technical innovation, and functional requirements in each design.

With a multicultural team and an expanded European footprint, Metaform continues to pursue its ambition: to design contemporary, sustainable, and profoundly human architecture that serves cities and their inhabitants.

The Trier office plays a key role in this vision, supporting the agency’s growing portfolio in Germany and reinforcing its position on the European architectural scene.
